Anyway, I must not have the same channels as y'all do, because whenever I turn on the news I see programs like "Black In America" where blacks are portrayed as kind, hard-working, middle class citizens just trying to earn an honest living like anybody else. I see shows for young children where the virtues of multi-culturalism and tolerance are promoted. And I see the president of the United States of America, a black man, receiving standing ovations from cheering crowds of supporters, most of whom are white.

Where's all these police reports and welfare lines on tv? The producers of COPS say they deliberately cut out most scenes with black people and air more scenes with white people so that they won't be criticized, even though the beat cops they follow are usually in the inner cities where (guess what) black people are doing crime. They go out of their way to drive waaaay out to the meth labs to get some white criminals on tape.

Whoa, the anger in this thread is wild. It actually frightens me to know that there is someone (probably many, but at least one in this thread) that hates me, having never met me, just because of my skin tone. That is a mindset I simply cannot understand. Never would I place an entire race of people in a category just because of what someone else told me. Until I have met each and every person of each and every race on this planet, I would simply be speaking from ignorance.
