I don't have an issue with them playing black music. And I'm aware that many White artists genuinely love the music, the culture of Black folks. What gets me is when our society (for the most part dominated by White people) decides to crown the White artists doing Black music as the GOATs when they're not even original or the best. They're just the most visible. Because they're white and hence more marketable.

And to that end, I can understand and support why Blacks are wary of those outside community attempt to break in. Because they know "Well shit you mean well but non blacks are the biggest threats to our handprint on our legacy" Its happened too many times for anyone to say it doesn't happen.
