Because if you are, you might want to pull out your history books and remind yourself that the Holocaust was finished and the Jews had been given a country while African Americans were still being treated like second hand citizens. You might also want to remind yourself that there was pretty much every step taken to foster the Jewish community and allow it to prosper, while any remotely prosperous African American community was either being exploited or burned to the ground.
