so he can't help and save his city by investing and helping businesses while at the same time saying do not let anyone disrespect you and that he woulnr return until he got a public apology?

maybe its me...but I don't see what going back is doing outside of your pride and manhood can be for sale.

at this point ...lebron don't need the money. so It should not have to be about money. He can get paid anywhere

Just giving money ain't enough idiot.

Just like what a child. Just cuz you sent money to your child don't mean your helping him grow.

Ima say all them owners is racist.

So no matter where he play he would be a so call slave.

So he wanna help the kids. And y'all shun this man.

Even when a black dude do what he think is right by going back to his town y'all find a flaw with him.

White ppl got y'all programmed good. Divide and conquer.

so being a good ole nigga an coming back to the plantation is OK I guess?

I am sure all the owners are rasict. but this particular owner took it to another level.

its not about me not wanting him to help nor am I shunning his help. that's what you want to see or read.

this is not his only option to help.

but sending money and visitation with proper guidance you can still raise a good child.

it depends on the child and the foundation it was given.

give the kids a proper an solid foundation and you can build anything

When LeBron left the actually economy of Cleveland suffered. Shit is crazy one person can actually have that much effect. If he feels like him simply being there can help bring something to help improve where he's from then it really is more than about some people saying he's being bought. He's an athlete. No matter who he plays for the bought analogy can apply anywhere.

According to sources they gave him a piece of the franchise.... he's only 29, he's still young man. If they offered me coin AND an equity stake of say 10% of the Cavs you dayum right I'd jump ship. For the first 6 months I'd have security out the ass after that I'd let the good times roll. In 20 years Lebron could be 11 figure status from this.

Now I can't front in my personal opinion I don't think he should have switched I mean... this nigga had 4 straight journeys to championships and won 2. It's not like it was the end. I blame Spoelstra for the way the Heat played tho among other factors, to me he's the dumbest smart guy. But thinking from my business perspective, the only way I'd have jumped ship is if I was offered a stake in a team, which they so kindly did.

Nobody is gonna give a fuck about the Heat era when Lebron is putting numbers on the board and if he surpasses Jordan no one will debate if it was a good decision. Lebron is arguably the best player in the league, he's brought Cleveland to the finals before, perhaps he can do it again. Got dayum @ the Spurs stopping him twice tho.

What's crazy is I slick knew he got a small piece of the franchise in his new contract. I never knew how much impact Lebron on Cleveland until I was watching ESPN at the barbershop this morning. Cleveland's economy dropped like a mofo during Lebron's department from Cleveland, jobs was getting effected & some more shit.

I guess he felt bad that happened back then & he remembered his word by giving Cleveland their first championship. In his mind, his decision to go back home is bigger than holding a grudge against Dan Gilbert

Imma anti-Lebron fan but he won alot of respect from me yesterday & I hope he can bring a championship back to Cleveland

Pat Riley said some fuck shit too though. He ain't winning a ring with either team anyway

except for he did win a ring with the heat....twice

i remember people trying to place that plantation owner label on gilbert when lebron left cleveland. it didnt make sense then and it doesnt make sense now. he left one white plantation owner to play for another white plantation owner in miami?

lets not act like gilbert didnt have a right to be pissed off in the first place. lebron embarrassed his own hometown on national television. he even admitted he went about it the wrong way if im not mistaken. gilbert's letter was extreme but so was the way lebron left cleveland

the dudes that wanna call lebron a coon probably take shit from your white bosses everyday and dont do shit about it, yet you want lebron to take a stand

yeah ok nigga

if he is all about helping then why did he leave?

was he was thinking about himself?

he got his rings now he can help others?

and yall praise this because at least he came back?

and how the economy when lebron was in high school?

so he wants to come back to help those that shitted on him?

Cause that's all normal folks see.

Everyone has a price it seems.

It was unprofessional the way the owner handled that. Its hard to overlook that and going to play FOR him again.

Now they did have a meeting with each other. But you have to expect at least a public apology, part ownership and him being able to do whatever the hell he wants. But even with that I wouldn't want to win a ring for Dan Gilbert.

Lebron know him more than we do so he probably looks at it as anomaly to Dan's usual character but still..idk

He just wants to save his legend by winning in the place he ran from bc he couldn't win

He doest want people to say “ yeah he won titles but....."

He really wants to be considered amongst the greats....and he wouldn't be if he stayed in MIA (plus the team was getting worse)

But its gonna be even harder in Cleveland than it was in Miami.

You still think so even if they sign love?

Well...if they sign love it elevates them to top of the east...on par with the bulls ( who have pau) and above the pacers .... still not better than San Antonio

You trying too hard to find something wrong with this. He admitted he was thinking about himself when he left and leaving how he did. Now he's considering the people he didn't to come back. Of course you don't forget shit overnight but at the same time he'd be weaker to let that one incident affect every decision he makes career wise the rest of his playing days. You grow you change and you realize things you didn't about life 4 years ago. It happens all the time

He not coming back to play for free so this ain't a charity move. Dude is just playing for money and it's got little to nothing to do with the city.
