Im not gonna read this thread cuz I'll bet it's gonna be cats up in arms over what he said about Wayne, Puffy and Kanye but you have to understand where he's coming from. There is no comparison between him and Puffy or Ye as a producer, this nigga defined an entire area musically for those cats to exist and was what they were aspiring to be. I'm not even gonna bring up MJ, Sinatra, Aretha, Ingram, Barry White, Luther, Ray Charles, Billie Holiday, etc. it's funny man no one with a deep understanding of music will deny that Quincy IS the GOAT or Michael Jordan of his craft unless they're young SMMFH.

This reminds me of how cats who came up on 90s Hip-Hop not being able to get down with the Hip-Hop from the 2000s tho. The quality of music we had w/ Nas, Biggie, 2Pac, Snoop in his prime, Dr.Dre, Eazy-E, Jeru, Lost Boyz, Wu Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes, Aaliyah, R.Kelly in his prime, Puff Daddy & The Family, all them cats. Unconsciously we compare the music now to our golden days so it's hard to get used to the new cats. Nas said Hip-Hop was dead b/c of some of the things Quincy is saying and he gets a pass followed by 101 cosigns and GOATs cuz it's Nas but when Quincy say it niggas feel some type of way, like he's attacking the culture when he's just stating an opinion (and fact).
