I rarely argue with atheists because ya'll have so many good points I can never really argue against. My only reason for believing in at least one god is because this world seems designed, and I doubt it is just a coincidence everything seems designed and shaped a certain way. If there is a god, he or she is EXACTLY like we are. Evil some days, good on others. Just like the average person.

I think Ether has a good point......we usually associate people that claim to speak to God and hear voices as crazy.They probably are crazy......or maybe they really do hear the word of God, who really knows. I doubt they do though, but anything is possible. Maybe all those prophets that heard God's voice like the prophet Mohammed and Jesus were actually just crazy psychos who just wanted to feel special. It would make some sense, considering how much violence is in the Koran and the Bible.

You obviously never been to a mental ward. They are full of people who talk to buildings, think they own the place and the attendants are their servants, scream incessantly, think there everybody but themselves not just God. A large portion don't even speak. In college, I volunteered at a VA hospital and the mental ward was something to see.

you don't have to be Crazy to hear voices. If I practice pranayama or especially meditate for hours straight, hearing voices,noises, and seeing beautiful light and colors become very REAL( in a sense).

What i forgot to mention is,this mainly happens to me when im high. Thats why i encourage people not to smoke when in training.
