Prodigy had one of the illest six year runs in Rap history..
Although P fell way off since 2000 (which goes to show you how dope he was), I wouldn't say it's a reach to put him in the top 15.. the man (along with Hav of course) gave ya'll three classics back to back.. what more do ya'll niggas need? lol..

architects of NY's sound,Mobb Deep took boom bap and enhanced it,they gave it a darker feel.

The only thing that can save this thread (and with it P's reputation) are some dope verses from his prime. I suggest you start posting shit ASAP

Segregate those fake poems
Separate the bullshit from the authentic
Vintage rhyme division got the globe listening
My rap scroll belittled your goals and visions
Prohibition got my whole block pissin Christian
One-fifty-one dunn'll have you off balance walkin
Don't let your e-motions get involved talkin
To the wrong culprit, the killer be the soft spoken
So what's ya intentions, you want to glow for the moment?
Throw on ya two pennys then you boltin
I rock for the few chosen, who got they third minds open
Write a page that'll engage war and encite fights
Be on the look for the bright lights and north winds
The trumpets be the mics ya size malevolent
You don't belong in my eyesight, P's powerful soldier
Of the light and things won't be the same
The game's over

But the later years really brought him down the list sadly. Up until "H.N.I.C" I was really with him being apart of the upper teir of Emcees but "Imfamy" on the bars got weaker the flow was lazier.
The only great thing that came out of Later was Alchemist linking up with the Mobb from 99' on. With that said I'm a Mobb fan for life but P did fall off skills wise after the year 2000. The last 13 years have been hit or miss and sadly it's mostly miss. But again I'm always a fan so I support all P's work. I copped "H.N.I.C. 2 and Return of the Mac". Even the mixtapes I download. I didn't buy "H.N.I.C. 3" cause it was weak. Mobb hasn't had a good group LP since "Murda Muzik". "Infamy, Americaz Nightmare and Blood Money" were all nothing more than 3-3.5 Mics. They all had hot songs but they weren't great albums.

if you're interested in some of their shit that didn't make it to studio albums look up this Mobb Misses mixtapes by J Love.....and I have never listened to Blood Money and never will,,,what alot youngins right here don't know is that album singlehandly drove them underground....because even though Prodigy had been at least average (and that being nice) they still had a cult like fanbase that would still allow them to go at least gold....but when they signed to G Unit and Prodigy dropped that infamous interview...niggas was like.....
