If you're my age (33) from the north east and ever spit a verse Prodigy influenced you somehow. Just being real. I think I learned about breaking up bars and flowing without having to rhyme from Prodigy and Redman. Keith Murray too.

I'm devastated. Mobb Deeps music raised me. Prodigy had the illest delivery and quotes ever. I was just listening to "it's alright " from the infamous bootlegs yesterday night and I was getting chills from prodigys verse on there and how he vividly painted a picture of NYC in the 90s. He was such a genius and wise beyond his years. I'm on mobile right now, but can somebody post that mobb deep song "if it's alright"? It feels like I lost a family member. Huge loss.

I'm from Q.U.E another E.N.S so by your small tough talk/ I'm not impressed/If I see you in the Bridge I'll make you undress Give up the money, the polo, especially the guess......

You tripping at one time between 96-2000 P was almost neck and neck with Nas and Jay . Lyrically, and discography.

IMHO.. This is one of the best and most underrated songs by P.. Truly RIP to him...

@"stringer bell"

I haven't heard this in a while, but it's a damn good track! Great drop!

I'm late as phuck and I just found this out in the Cheap Seats a lil' about 2 hours ago. I been reading thru most of yall post and this shit is just crazy as hell 2 me!

I swear when I clicked on The Reason to confirm it and saw this thread, the FIRST thing I said to myself was "I'M STUCK OF THE REALNESS!!!".... b/c I really am. SMDH

BTW, 'Hell On Earth' is the one of the best hip hop albums of the Golden Era (obviously so is the 'Infamous', but that's by default)!

Rest In Power P

and most of yall were too busy shittin on this dude while he was living yet propping up faggots like Young Thug and Lil Yachty. SMH...

R.I.P.

Stop making posts like this just for reactions...not 1 damn person was propping up niggas like Young Thug and Yachty over Prodigy and anything Mobb Deep has done. Acting like just because you don't proclaim somebody your favorite of all time all of a sudden they weren't fans of his music

oh rly? dont make me go dig for posts bruh. you know exactly what the fuck Im talking about. STFU and mind your business or get with it. I dont give any type of fuck about a fucking reaction, what I do care about is the dumbass mentality of "hip hop", "rap" whatever yall wanna call it "fans".

Yeah let's see the tons of post of people saying Young Thug is a better rapper than Prodigy
