I just saw P perform with Hav and Black Thought at Roots Picnic 2 weeks ago. They were playing Quiet Storm in the club on Saturday and I was tweeting the lyrics. I got to see him perform a solo set in 2012 and him and Hav reunite with Nas for the first time on stage in 2011. I grew up on P's music. One of the best and creative lyricist ever.. say what you want but he didn't back down from challenges. His shit talking ability was top notch. He was taking good care of his health since he got out of jail and talk about a lot of shit people were scared to but also had matured. This makes me fear for my homeboy who has sickle cell who just turned 30. Can't take shit for granted. My head is fucked up.
