He joined the Black Panther Party at the age of 16, in 1966. On April 6th, 1968, he was traveling in a car with a few other Black Panther members, when they were ambushed by the Oakland police. They ran for cover in a building nearby. When the police finally threw tear gas into the building, Hutton stripped down to his underwear so that the police would know he was unarmed and he walked out.

The police shot him 12 times. At the age of 17, Bobby Hutton was murdered by the police.

"Green Power: The Successful Way of A. G. Gaston" < I wanted this book badly, but as you said it's hard to get a hold of. How is the book though is it an autobiography or a self-help advice based book? What do you rate it?

It's a mix of a few things: bio, historical account of first black business owners during his time and his philosophy on success as a Black man. A must read 4sure.

First heard of him from a .pdf i found online covering all the first black millionaires in history, i have it on an external drive somewhere - i'll find it and drop the link

If you could do that it would be greatly appreciated. I love learning more about African-Amercian entrepreneurs and their successes.
