Yeah, your thread is kinda misleading. At no point in that article did they say that they are trying to limit the number os Asians they are accepting. The policy doesn't even mention Asians. The policy is just being changed to include more potential candidates. Under the new rules, it isn't just your grades and your ACT/SAT score that will determine if you get in. It's actually a great move, in my opinion. Since the smartest kids in school are rarely the ones with the highest grades. The only reason the Asian population is in an uproar is because it goes against everything they have been taught by their parents - who likely are the first generation of their family to live in the U.S. - 'Get the highest grades on school and on your ACT or SAT, do tons of community service and you will be guaranteed to get into a good school.'
