being lyrical is just being able to be fresh every time..if u got lyrics..ur lyrical. u can talk about the same shit and make it sound like new. being lyrical isnt just about how complex your rhyme scheme is how many syllables u can rhyme..its about overall creativity and having bars for days. saying big words dont make u lyrical.

They is nothing wrong with complex rhyme schemes or having a wide vocabulary but making music is about more than that. The problem I see with a lot of super lyrical rappers is they don't have any balance they aren't well rounded. All they can do is rhyme three syllable words. being fundamentally sound lyrically has a lot to do with knowing when to use big words

every time I write lyrics , I always proof read and make sure I use words in the right context. A lot of rappers don't do that though

I think being lyrical comes in many forms of opinions besides the obvious fact that dude can't be spitting some straight wackness

For example, I view artists that can use concepts while storytelling and staying on topic as lyrical....andre 3 stacks, jay z...scarface, etc

I'm influenced by those type of cats so when you hear my songs...you hear me stay on topic and create a story for your ears to read. Like on renegade, Jay caught me with his verse because he was spitting some real shit that wasn't over complicated, he just went straight to the point yet I still felt it. The dudes I named above are lyrical but they don't force their bars down our throats. Sure, sometimes they might go over our heads but ain't nothing wrong with that once in a while lol.
