All those guys are crazy ass wackos . KRS has officially lost it and has been irrelevant for longer than i've been alive. Canibus says the stupidest shit ever , he doesnt even realize what he is saying and no one can explain his lyrics because they make as much sense as Soulja Boy's except that Bis is using some big words to look smart.

Canibus makes complete sense when he rhymes. Learn how to paraphrase young one.

bis has more complex metaphors than lupe

Not at all.

Nah man...the purpose of this thread is to talk about lyrical cats that try to hard and are technical and shit

I get the whole song....menstrual = bloody period yada yada

im just saying these lyrical cats like lupe are stubborn and annoying...why did he have to have a dude in the video saying "niggas don't want to hear big words lu" ?..why did he put that video out as a single when he clearly knew it didn't sound like one...These dudes are rebellious for no reason.

House nigga/ White boy post.

I think the only kats that get mad at or overly critical of these so called lyrical emcees for using an extensive vocabulary are the ones who either don't have the mental capacity to understand what the MC is talkin about or if they rhyme themselves but they can't put lyrics together the way those so-called lyrical dudes can. If you don't like emcees with a vocab....just don't listen. They're obviously not making music for YOU.

Cosign.

using big words does not make you lyrical, but it can be used as a tool

to.

but metaphors and punchline do make you lyrical, because

you are using poetic devices to convey a point.

as far as rhyme patterns at does not make you lyrical per say

but it makes you better technical rapper, which is why ppl say

biggie was a better technical rapper than pac.

syllables and rhymespatterns are rap techniques=technical skill

Regarding the syllabic rhymes...if you know how to rhyme a series of simpler words together, you get your meaning across while retaining powerful multis.

CYNE - First Person

This track isn't really lyrical like that, but it's an example of two emcee's with depth creating a great track.

"I was a child of the 80s, growin up in the 90s

A small black child of power you couldn't find me

Because I shyly, would hide away from the faces

They used to look me in the face, Baby you'll make it

And told me to stand strong, because you're gonna be

Gone beyond the darkest sunshine hard

A new day

So I pray I'm gonn make em right I fight for life and make sure my lifes right

I stand strong on my own two

SO what you gonna do? I hold you

In the web of my speech and mold you

Into my past cuz this verse is a looking glass

Silk past the evil, and serve my people

Forever..."

Man cyne is immenesly underrated. definitely one of florida's best kept secrets
