I always thought 50's beef with Joe was legit, and not some plain childish insecurity about Joe being on a song with Ja Rule.

When Joe said "And everybody talkin' crazy how they AK spit/But we done did some investigatin' and they aint spray shit" I immediately thought Joe was referencing Gunit and the hook on "G'd up". I mean that, combined with the fact he spit that line on a song with 50s enemy who was trying to make a comeback--kind of showed some support for Ja...I thought that's what sparked it.

As far as the Ja vs 50 beef goes, I thought it started like this;

Ja Rule and 50 were from the same neighborhood. Ja Rule was more clean cut and 50 Cent was more of a thug.

When Ja blew up he was rapping about being a thug and making videos of him being in jail. Ja had the tattoos and bandanas trying to portray the image of a tough guy. But that used to make 50 Cent mad because he knew Ja Rule, they grew up in the same neighborhood and 50 knew Ja wasn't really a thug or a gangsta. In reality, it was 50 that sold drugs and went to jail, 50 was in the streets doing the work while Ja Rule was clean cut.

So as Ja Rule got more popular, 50 got more and more disgusted in how Ja was portraying himself.

I also heard a story that before 50 Cent got put on, Ja Rule was shooting a video in their neighborhood. 50 Cent tried to walk up to Ja and give him a pound and Ja Rule kinda brushed him off. That scene was in Get Rich Or Die Trying.

Hell nah ja been talking that g shit dude was part of a rap group called the cash money crew waaaaaayyyyy back in the days. Anybody that believes that shit bag movie get rich or die trying is simply a stan. Like 20% of that shitty movie was actually true.

The 50 & ross beef stems from 50 vs fat joe beef. Around that time 50 was dam near beefing with everybody. Being that khalid was affiliated with almost all the dudes fifty was beefing with especially fat joe he had to add his 2 cents. On rap city I think tigger had 5 albums on the pool table asked him which albums would he consider classics with grodt as one of those cd's. Khalid then said all of them were classics but excluded grodt which was a hell of a lot better than at least half those other albums. Tigger thought he was trolling & was like you can't exclude grodt over such & such album but khalid stood firm that shit was hella funny. Then gunit was on there a few weeks later I think Jim jones was there to & dissed khalid & the beef basically went into overdrive after that. Then ross felt he had to ride for his homies & at that time ross was that nigga in terms of street credibility. Around that time 50 gave ross props but I guess ross dejected his deposit. Claimed he saw him at the source awards or whatever but that's small talk & came with mafia music & you'll know the rest.

You notice how all the shit that happen to ross seems like it happened within a week. Mafia music came out then the picture came out then the smoking gun exposed him then 50 the so-called career killer added on to it. I don't know how ross survived that onslaught sheesh.
