This George Zimmerman (GZ) celebrity boxing fiasco is a disgrace to the death of Trayvon Martin (TM). For the people that “know” GZ was guilty of at least 2nd degree, this goes without saying. For the other people who think GZ was justified or there wasn’t enough evidence, this GZ celebrity boxing event should still upset you.

Even if you felt like GZ was justified in his actions or there wasn’t enough evidence to convict, why rub it in the face of the family of a slain child whom GZ admitted to killing? Why is a child murderer, regardless of the circumstances being labeled a celebrity?

This sends the wrong message to the world, and lets the black community see that black life is still nothing more than a joke to many individuals. This promoter, Damon Feldman is using his big pockets and influences to make a mockery of another family’s deep sorrow.
