I think you're misleading dudes by giving them false hope. Just because you were successful on one of the first times that you gave out your number that doesn't necessarily mean that it's a successful strategy. You may have just gotten lucky and she already really really liked you, like I said previously. Most interactions with females are not gonna be like that for most dudes.

Taking a number offers better shot at success for the average dude because the average dude usually will not be able to get a girl to that point in their first interaction. But as stated earlier, it's just a numbers game so giving your number will eventually work, but not as often as taking hers imo
