People don't understand the workings of a mastermind (Jay Z)

We went through this with Beans, and then beans had to eat that, because he found out it was dame who was bleeding him dry.

No matter how many times a foe or a former artist come at Jay Z, he will never run to do an interview to clear the air.

Jay sticks to his guns, and I say what's done is done, move on, it's been over 10 years.

But out of all the things these people say about Jay Z, you won't hear any of them say they put hands on him.

Fuck all the what if's and if it was so and so, muthafukers know better"

So here we have peddi crack telling his side of whatever happened, but here is a video of peddi telling why Jay Z really dropped him from the label >http://www.sohh.com/peedi-crakk-talks-tension-with-jay-z-i-blew-900000-of-def-jams-money-video/

“For one man to have control over the situation and not do it for whatever reason, I never knew what reason it was, I kinda have an idea but when he don’t do that, of course you gonna be a little upset,” Peedi explained in an interview. “The budgets were so crazy over there, we were blowing each other’s budgets. I messed up at least $900,000. I blew $900,000 of Def Jam’s money on flights, Moet, Cristal, lobster, shrimp, steak — but that’s because of Dame [Dash], he would just put the black card anywhere and let us ball and this went on for like the course of two, three years. Balling on Roc-A-Fella…Jay didn’t care about that money because my budget was for $600,000, I was $200,000 over budget, right, even being over budget, I still didn’t have the album done when I had the meeting with Jay. So I went to his office and explained that I would come through for him and get these songs done in like two weeks, he opened the budget up again for like $40,000 just to record at Baseline in Manhattan…I did the whole album in two weeks, so now that went up to like $840,000. So I don’t think it was the money, it was just our relationship. To keep it real with myself, when he was ready, I wasn’t ready. But then when I got myself ready, I guess he was just like, ‘I’m done.’ And that’s the real deal.” (Hip Hop Beef)

Yeah I could see how Jay would distance himself from these dudes. How do you blow $800,000 and not have an album finished? Thats what Young Buck did with 50's money and you see how that worked out.

And then he says he completed the album for $40,000, which just goes to show that Peedi was fucking around with the label's money.

And cam dissed jay first.

All them Harlem world niggas Mase brought out was cool each other.

Cam, Huddy, Meeno, blinky blink, suga j. Dame used to fuck with them to.

But the real reason behind the beef, too keep it a buck, them Harlem niggas was haters. They think they the only niggas that get fly in NYC.

And when dame used to bring jay around them niggas, jay used to treat them like lil niggas.

And if you ask me how I know. I used to go to high school with them Harlem world niggas. 1995 graphic arts HS in midtown, Manhattan.

Aye aye chill those are facts foh

Half way.. Uptown niggaz is the flyest in the city.. Harlem/Bronx.. Can't forget the BX...

they was in the club buying cris, flying bitches in to fuck from all over. paying bills for everyone in the crew fam. dame was letting them get away with it because he was slipping in his own expenses and claiming that it was all them. if they albums turned a profit then it would interfere with his profits and be charged against there royalties anyway.

you dudes want to go to the bahamas? cool, here go the black card, i'm going to swing down too and bring some lovelies. what he not saying is why not, i'm going to charge it to your royalties anyway

Not alotof people wanted to work with dame afterwards.. He was burning bridges

I've said it before, but if you want a foreshadowing of what led to the end of Rocafella, and Dame's relationships with alot of people, watch Backstage and look at the argument he got into w/ Kevin Liles.

As much as i liked the dips Let a nigga or his squad come into your house and start actin like he runs shit and can do as he pleases and tell me how u gonna act.

But that still doesn't explain why Cam and Dame couldn't put a label together after the Roc dissolved. I thought they were homies.

selling the ROC was a jayz power move..he was like "oh yall wanna run shit n act like yall don't need my input, ok fuck it do ur own thing I'm out..oh yes n I'm selling the company"

From what I remember, Dame got $20 mil after the sale, which is pretty good considering he didn't say one rhyme or produce any beats. With $20 mil he could have started his own label. He has so much knowledge, a struggling artist would be lucky to have Dame as a manager.
