it was senior year of high school for me. i was at 1 of my boys houses and we was playin video games. his moms had cooked some fire ass ribs for some reason...i wasnt complainin tho...them shits was good ass hell. anyway...so we watchin the game and them niggas losin. so it gets that point where ben wallace gets fouled...im thinkin like "y did they foul him...the game is already over....aint no body gonna come back from 15 pts down to win...especially if foul ben wallace". then i see ben push artest the im like "come on yall...yeah its DETROIT but yall aint gotta fight like that tho...the game is already won by the pacer" but u kno how the old saying goes "******s will be ******s". so the scufflin' at the scorers table...wit lil lindsey hunter tryna get some street cred...but rasheed and stephen jackson(now THAT nigga is a thug peep 0:25...that nigga flared his jesery out and took that negro fighting stance) were still talkin. we was thinkin at that point they was gonna b suspened for a game or 2. so shit starts settlin down and the show artest chillin on the scoers table. now i'll give him the benefit of the doubt...dude tried to say outta trouble...bad spot 2 b in...but he tried. then...*queue dramatic music*...that DAM blue cup. when he went n2 the stands...we was sayin "yo...yo...yo....is this shit real? like for real...is this shit really happening?" then the second that artest gets on the court...dat fat ass nigga jumps in front of him...but artest gives dude a nice shot 2 the face(n/h). we startin callin niggas like "YALL NIGGAS NEED TO WATCH ESPN RIGHT THE FUK NOW". when they then got artest off of him...jermaine o'neal comes thru with a killer falcon punch. DAT shit has us dying for the rest of the school year. and 7 foot black ****** comin thru wit a video game punch...dude had 2 have nightmares for a long ass time. we was laughin so loud that his moms told us to shut the fuck up...we kept laughin tho...quietly. we watched espn 2 see if they had anyother footage that we aint see...dis nigga jamall tinsely came back out wit a fukin dust pan...nigga i was literally dead at that point. so that was def the topic at school the next day. niggas was str8 wildin' talkin about dat shit.

but real shit...im sorry 2 pacer fans that this happened...because of that...yall lost a 3 of yall best players for a length of time and reggie had 2 carry the squad himself, in what would b his final year. yall had a good ass squad and coulda done some big things...evn win n the finals...maybe(cant do "ifs" on this...cuz we still got 2 the finals) but forreal...dat shit was a bad look overall. still funny 2 this day for me...but a bad look...and yall won the dam game....shits disgustin' B.

Me and my brother were watching the game live at home. I was backing Pistons and was pissed that they were losing to one of my least favourite teams. After the foul, Wallace shoved Artest and that cheered me up but then Artest backed off and I was hoping that he would retaliate so Wallace could get at him. My brother was laughing at how cool Artest was behaving and lying on the announcer's table, not getting involved in the melee. Then I heard my brother laugh out and say, "Somebody threw a drink on Artest!!" After that, the room was quiet for about 10 mins. We were just watching everything unfold and couldn't even talk. Even after it was cleared up we watched the Sportscenter highlight right after just to see it all again.

As for the Pistons fans who threw punches I had no problem with that. If I got an athlete charging at me I'm going to do my best to protect myself. The fans that threw the beer in the tunnel they were punks. But Artest had no business going in those stands, just like that fan who can smuffed by J.O had no business being on the court. We had that 6 hour time difference so we had come back to the dorms early from the club at like 2 oclock in the morning (clubs don't close till 6am there...man I miss Europe) and me and my friends was just chillin not really paying attention to the game. Once the start fighting my homeboy was like OH SHIT!!! IS THIS LIVE NIGGA!! Looked at the top right of the screen and it said live. We was buggin out. We aint have DVRs in the dorms so we was trying to hurry up and find a VHS tape and snatched my homegirl VCR from her room. U should of saw us running up and down the hallways trying to sombody that had a blank tape. LMAO
