Flav wasn't a emcee. He might've put out songs on the PE cd's here and there but all you heard was Chuck D. Flav and Chuck was never back to back like M.O.P., Outkast, Run-DMC, De La Soul, Naughty By Nature, EPMD, Heltah Skeltah or ATCQ. if want to compare Outkast to those groups....bring it on but not Public Enemy. PE had way more impact. Not even close. And I'm a Kast fan. There's foreign white people, Africans, Asians, Arabs who've known about PE for what, 23 years? You know how many music critics cite them as the greatest rap group ever (not that those who disagree would care but still...)? Ya'll might as well say Outkast>Bob Marley damn near lol. PE was known worldwide years before Outkast was heard of. Niggas went plat in the 80's (one of a handful of people/groups). Outkast made niggas proud the south was shining, thats cool. PE made white people actually think about why racism is fucked up and made black people proud of they history, more important. Dre and Big Boi as rappers are more advanced than Chuck, but Chuck flow wasn't bad. Plus his voice combined with the message outweighs Kast imo. Plus on another note, NWA/Dr Dre bit PE production style for Eazy Duz It and Straight Outta Compton, and they produced Cube solo joint (his first hit) so PE>NWA too.

Whats ironic is no PE, no songs like Bombs over Baghdad. What did Kast do for black people besides make good music (which is cool)? PE influenced a generation of niggas to stop believing everything the govt tells you and learn about shit for yourself, like malcolm X in the 80's type shit. They made certain niggas who was moving work and robbin old ladies reconsider what they was doing (for a while at least). They made niggas know that its alright to be proud to be black and not be Bryant Gumbel/ Carlton Banks lol. Thats deeper than just music.
