I think people are underrating what this really is! The mobb are legends their place in the rap hall of fame is just as signifcant as wu tang, nas, jay, big. At one time prodigy was the illest on the mic no question and this was when every one was in they prime. We talking big reasonable dought jay nas u get what im sayin.

I just listened to cd2 and was so surprised. These are the original recordings of the infamous before q-tip linked with them and they re did it. I love the original but this shit is kinda nice u can hear havocs production. Its raw and Noyds all over it. Shit is classic. Its nice . Ahh man.

We are lucky to have this cause it bassically like an alternate version of a classic hip hop album.

Like the infamous pt.2 but this shit aint a remake years later this shit is the real its the pure lol

Just got round to listening to this and I'm pleasantly surprised with cd1...

I honestly boycotted these niggas when they signed up with Fiddy...

So having not heard these niggas for a while...this sounds more "authentic" Mobb Deep....if ya feel me.

Gonna check cd2 tomorrow during my work day... I heard the Wu and Nas track...shit was tough.

Right now this Timeless track got a nigga faded...smoking on suttin' nice...shit on repeat....

But you know what? Mobb Deep been around for over 20 years. I can't say I've heard their last album because I haven't but if they're rapping about the same stuff they were rapping about 20 years ago then I'm not gonna cop it.

Jay Z and Nas both came out around the same time as Mobb Deep and they've both grown and evolved into adults with adult content. I hope Mobb Deep can shine with some wisdom. I'd hate to hear the same bang bang shoot em up rhymes they were kicking 20 years ago.

But then again, maybe they're just not for me. Maybe they have a following and their music just isn't made for my ears.
