Quality music man. Not even just, rap, MUSIC. This dude is a true artist. So much content packed in all of his music. I can't imagine Kendrick falling off or running out of shit to say.

Yall niggas don't like shit!

I had to tell my niggas earlier fam just coz its smooth it doesn't mean it's dope.

Good drop from Kendrick, who I like as an artist. He and J Cole clearly have a love for the art which is rare but meh is meh

It's dope to me. Not a classic piece of work or anything but these sound like some good ass B-sides that didn't fit on the album.

Its alright ( No Pun)

Same jazzy spoken word vibe as TPAB

Yet the lyrics on here are more potent on this

He spitting about the "Trumpets" in the book of revelations..Alot of relegion references

This is prolly the original vision he had for the project but interscope prolly made him change it

Eh... much like TPAB this project just doesn't do it for me, there just aren't any stand out tracks, i'll actually even go out on a limb here and say that there is actually no replay value in this project what so ever...

It's mediocre at best..

Happens all the time, sometimes based on the beat/what instruments are used the live version gon trump the studio version

Common's song "The Food" was way better live than the studio version.

Big cosign. Loved the live version, cd cut not just as much

Off first listen im feeling this more than TPAB. Always thought TPAB was high quality hip hop just wasnt feeling it like that.

This one is hittin first go thru

I'd give this a good 7/10 based on the first few listens. Would be higher if that intro to the Alright video was on here in full and CDQ.

Bout to press play but is this one of those instances where no matter what wee have to act like its thebest thing since sliced bread?

Just shut the fuck up and listen to it.

Not sure if i should take this as disrespect...ur on notice

He do have a point though. You act like niggas shouldnt be excited about HipHop on a hiphop board.

No nigga, i was joking about the fact that niggas will automatically anoint this the greatest thing since Thriller and will refuse to let anyone give an objective opinion on the project

Shits cool for what its worth. Like somebody else said a while back, I wish other rappers would do this. So much music we dont get to hear for whatever reason(mostly sample clearances) . Hopefully this starts a trend....for the better.

Oh and If you dont have good headphones/system this is tough to listen to.

I mean for some $20 junts they sound great. I'm not exactly an audiophile though. And you got a new phone with worse sound? I thought all these manufacturers were breaking their necks to one-up each other. Smfh

I will say this, there are noticeable spots where the mix seems kinda off. For instance, in some places the music drowns out Kendrick, but otherwise it's fine
