Its 2011 and Jim Jones and Soulja Boy have over 1 million followers on twitter and they still wouldn't sell this much 1st week and I would laugh at you if you said they could. In fact J cole don't even have 1 million followers on twitter.

I've heard Cole's name around here more within the last week than I heard in 2009 and 2010 and early 2011 combined. I've been seeing his name all over Facebook within the last couple of weeks. The dude is a legitimate star now.

I don't know if you're old enough to remember this, but there was a time when rappers were going gold and platinum without Top 40 hits. Hip Hop is moving back in that direction. J. Cole is the first clear example of this. You better start getting used to it.
