Its 2011 and Jim Jones and Soulja Boy have over 1 million followers on twitter and they still wouldn't sell this much 1st week and I would laugh at you if you said they could. In fact J cole don't even have 1 million followers on twitter.

Your analogy fails on multiple levels and in fact increases the suspect nature of this whole affair

So which is it? Being big on the internet doesn't matter...but somehow Twitter does?

You niggaz are pathetic....

A month ago according to the reason, jay z didn't give a fuck about jcole, not sending a verse on time and yall niggaz were laughing

But all of a sudden he's BUYING albums... For the artist he supposedly didn't give a fuck about?

Just take the L and keep it moving

Lord dont use logic. You know how easily confused niggas get. Props to Cole. Album is dope and he deserves it. The moronic "so and so buying albums" excuse needs to be deaded until niggas can provide a reasonable explanation on not only how its beneficial but how would an entity go about doing so discreetly.

" They Buying albums means"

I have no idea what the current climate of music is and who's popular so that's my excuse when I'm proven wrong

I personally know quite a few niggas who been waiting for this album since The Come Up/Warm Up I don't know why the IC insist he has no buzz.

I bet Jay Elec do numbers too if he ever gets a release date too. Some artist just got that loyal fanbase they might not go plat but can do gold consistently.

You can at least notice I didn't bring up the comparison to begin with that was the cole stans.
Iv'e pretty much said it doesn't matter hence why I brought Soulja Boy and Jim Jones and their floundering sales even though they apparently have a bigger internet fanbase then J-cole.
If you want to say J-cole is big because of his internet fame then you have to do that with everyone. If it don't correlate then that shouldn't have tried to argue it in the first place.

These niggas want to call someone on something but then renege as soon as they get called back.
Uncle Jay bought his albums as far I'm concerned

Please tell me how you gauge how many internet fans J-cole has?
Do you go by facebook likes, facebook fans, twitter followers?

How can you sit there and say this shit matters for J cole but then literally every other artist in the world proves time and time again that this doesn't matter. You J-cole stans just don't want to admit this nigga has no buzz and Roc Nation not wanting to take the L decided to buy up a bunch of his CD's to make it seem like hes relevant.

Good Lord man.....come on....do you realize how you sound right now?

I've heard Cole's name around here more within the last week than I heard in 2009 and 2010 and early 2011 combined. I've been seeing his name all over Facebook within the last couple of weeks. The dude is a legitimate star now.

I don't know if you're old enough to remember this, but there was a time when rappers were going gold and platinum without Top 40 hits. Hip Hop is moving back in that direction. J. Cole is the first clear example of this. You better start getting used to it.

I think it is right now. The funny thing is Cole can't win on this site because he was bound to fail, but now that it seems like he's succeeding his boss is buying the albums. This shit is pathetic.

How many people said Birdman was buying Drake,Wayne, and Nicki's albums and they have 10x the buzz that J-cole has right now? So when someone says Jay-z is buying his albums they have to automatically be wrong but when you want to criticize other artist's its voided. SMH

Uncle Jay spent a bit of cash for Roc Nation not take that Lits sticking by that theory until someone can quantify how big J-cole's fanbase is currently
