Just heard he dropping a black Histori project this Feb

He needs to get the first one mixed and mastered. Love that album, and it's a personal classic, but the sound quality is some of the worst I've ever heard in my life. I'm not an audiophile, but I don't even think the shit is 192 kbps.

Real shit

What’s worse Krit Wuz Here or Black Hystori in terms of mastering lol?....

I thought this was a little more deeper than a “trap” album. After one listen, I clearly saw a journey from just a hustler dropping jewels to a more spiritual, woken man who was heading back to God and building up the black community.

I could elaborate but music is subjective.

Great album. Top 5 this year.

And this a Kanye produced album?

Too much drug talk on this

This nigga dont need to talk about drugs at all he could write about anythking when a pen like that.

He just sound like the lost member of clipse

That's where he comes from tho, n he gave y'all that on bhp

I think what I was trying to say is he went a route like early TI n mixed the vivid lyricism with trap stories, although it's more than just trap music just like it was with tip, thats y I said from b4 niggas was saying hip hop was dead, back then it was urban legend n the inspiration not trap queen lol

I still haven't finished it. Got through half of it again and it sounded MUCH better the 2nd time around. He is a super lyrical dude, I caught suble wordplay that I didn't the first time. That "why" track is tough

Solid 4 mic album. He needs a producer to bring greatness out *cough* Kanye

Nope. Other than S1 on one track, Shawty Redd and Lex Luger on the title track, and then Shawty Redd on another track, I haven't really heard of these producers he's got on this album. I'm pretty sure I've heard of the Olympicks who produced the first track, but not positive.

Yeah I can feel comfortable calling this a 4 mic album. Cyhi can rap his ass off, but there needs to be more work on the songwriting. I don't think the production is bad, sure it doesn't have any big names but I'd prefer a dope beat from a no name producer versus a weak beat from a big name producer like timbo, pharrell, ye, etc.
