^ The game wasn't that bad. The line didn't lose the game. Holmes got called for two penalties, got beat a couple times but did ok. Decoud missed a play that he should have made that gave up a TD. Officials blew calls for both sides. Harry Douglas...damn. On the replay it didn't look as bad. I think he's one of those nervous types who don't do well under pressure. Roddy balled his ass off. That win would have hurt the draft pick anyway.

Decoud just ain't that good. He has decent ball skills, but he doesn't have the right mentality to play safety.
Safeties have to have the same mentality of a middle linebacker. Tough, serious, focused. He has the mentality of a baseball outfielder. Blowing bubble gum bubbles waiting on a fly ball.

Asante is done unless he takes close to the vet minimum. Douglas is due for a million dollar raise next year. Don't really see that happening, especially if we're chasing a couple major free agents and need that extra space.
Decoud probably won't get cut, but I wouldn't be surprised if we signed a decent veteran safety in FA to challenge him.

I'm trying to focus on the positive's right now
•We found at least 4 cheap starters on defense (Trufant, Alford, Worrilow, Bartu) who got experience going into next year
•Roddy still got it (had alligator arms today tho)
•Matty Ice was still good even though he got hit every time he dropped back
•Dimitroff got cap space to play with
•Nucky Blank is probably feeling some type of way
•A top 10 pick
•The world has realized HD is a fuck nigga (this can't be said enough)
