Nobody wants to say it so I will....

This team just aint that good. We solid but not good enough for a serious championship push........

Ive never been a big Thomas D fan, he just put this team together wrong

This ain't the full squad tho bruh. You talking bout 7-8 starters down and another 2 or 3 limping around.

Bill Belly constantly outcoaches MIke Smith...shit Bill knew the Falcons were going for it on 4th down before Smith had made up his mind. 10-6 is still very likely, maybe better depending on unknown factors. Nobody left on the schedule scares me. Seattle should have lost yesterday, before last thursday night the 49ers were looking very average, Packers have their own issues and we all know the Saints/Falcons always spilt home and home.

Seasons over!!!!!

Fire Smitty!!!!!!

Trade Ryan!!!!!

FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons left tackle Sam Baker, who suffered a knee injury against the Patriots, will likely not face the New York Jets on Monday.

Baker, who’s battling through a knee and ankle injury, would get two weeks to heal because the Falcons have a bye week following the game against the Jets.

When approached in the locker room Baker declined to comment because of the team policy against injured players conducting interviews.

Also, linebacker Akeem Dent suffered a sprained right ankle and did not come out of the linebackers’ meeting and into the locker room with the rest of the group today.

Mid-Week Rise the fuck up.

I'm looking forward to this bye-week so we can get somewhat healthy.

I expect Jax to be back by the Cardinal game which will be our next road game.

Our O-line actually looked pretty good vs. New England. Still a top 5 passing offense, #6 overall.

Defense has no leadership in the front 7. Kinda gettin' tired of playing without Spoon every year in the middle of the season.

Somehow we have the #6 Rushing defense in the league. Hopefully Nolan is working on some ways to put more pressure on the QB.

FLOWERY BRANCH -- Falcons middle linebacker Akeem Dent (sprained right ankle) and left tackle Sam Baker (knee) were declared out for the 'Monday Night Football' game against the New York Jets on Thursday by head coach Mike Smith.

However, running back Steven Jackson (hamstring) was not declared out. He was hurt in the second game of the season on Sept. 15. The team thought he'd be out two to three weeks.

But Jackson, who did not participate in practice, wrote in his blog on Friday that he didn't plan to return until he was "100 percent healthy."

"We're not going to rule him out at this point in time," Smith said. "He's working hard to get back and we'll have to see how the rest of the week plays out."

Nah, we need Dent. Fuck them street urchins we just signed.

Good to know that Jax is at least questionable. I didn't think he would be at this point for another 3 weeks. Good shit.

FLOWERY BRANCH --- Falcons wide receiver Roddy White. suffered a set back in his recovery from his high ankle sprain.

He played his most action of the season against New England. He played 74 of 76 (97 percent) of the offensive snaps.

“Yeah, and I learned a very valuable lesson from that,” White said. “I ain’t where I need to be yet.”

Asked if he was 100 percent, White said, “I don’t know. I’ll tell you after the bye week.”

Lol when these bums lose to the jets, it's gonna be hilarious watching yall continue to have a nervous breakdown

Honestly I think the team will be alright. With the way the schedule is looking and a bye coming up at the right time. I honestly feel we will probably lose 2 more games maybe 3, against Seattle, 49ers, and one game to the panthers. As of now the schedule isn't looking so tough. Of course outside of those three teams you can add the Saints and Packers to that mix, but I think we'll have a strong showing on thursday night, the same as last year and the packers just don't look scary right now, but who knows it will be a December and that's when everyone is in do or die mode.

Yep. 5 lawses is what we need to be fighting against.

I kinda like the idea of having to win out going into the playoffs. The last few champs were just a a game or two from missing the playoffs. Giants and Packers had to win in week 17 just to make the playoffs the years they won.
