Look at my Tigers record vs the Yanks in the POSTSEASON...that why our chances vs ya'll is more promising than vs the O's (last time we face the O's was in '83-84)

We are now a perfect 3-0 vs Yanks in the postseason.

Against the Cards tho ...Cards are up 2-1 on us ...and no record vs Giants in any WS, so it will be toss-up between any of those two teams vs us.

The cards play wit mad heart but if they finish the giants I don't see nothin stoppin the tigers from winnin the '12 world series

Kuroda was good as can be this year for them , Nova is inconsistent ........but like i said the bats were the issue in the post season not the pitching ..

The Yankees need to act now position player wise before they turn into the MLB version of Boston Celtics , Jeter will be 39 , A-Rod will be 38 , Ichiro will be 39 , they may let Nick Swisher walk cuz he's a Free Agent

and like you said Pettite is 39 , Kuroda has quality years left in him still do to his pitching style ..
