so the pirates put up 14 last night, and start this game by a grandslam in the 1st by alvarez.. where's all this offense coming from?? lol.. aint bouta get too hyped. as i recall, we were leading our division into the all star break last year..

i think i saw that the phillies are shopping cole hamels. it'd make sense if we'd try and get him to add to our pitching staff.. get rid of bedard asap. hamels might give us what we need to maintain pace for this central dvision title

Cueto : 9-5 , 2.35 ERA (6th in MLB) 86 K's , 1.13 WHIP

Then you'd be renting a player for half a season cuz Hamels wants his Cake , and he's looking for a 7 year deal , and lets be realistic Cole Hamels isn't looking for a 7 year deal with the Pirates ...He wants his deal to be closer to the CC Sabathia deal

Texas probably has the biggest pull right now , Phillies need a Future SS to take over for Jimmy when his time is up and Texas has the Number 1 SS prospect in all of Minors and top 5 Prospect overall in Minors in Jurickson Profar ....Texas already has Elvis Andrus and if Cole Hamels is willing to play long term in Texas then i can see Texas doing a Jurickson Profar & Derek Holland For Cole Hamels deal ...

Bryce Harper should not be a All-Star , to be honest he really shouldnt have even been a option to choose from as a final vote or a replacment , he's having a very quality Rookie year , very solid....but if you're talking "All-Star" then his numbers are nothing spectacular ...let the guy earn it cuz he's going to have plenty of years to do so.

.285 , 8 HR's , 25 RBI's aren't All-star numbers ...
