Well damn!

Reds were already a threat out of the NL this year, now they're a threat for the next 3 years. Great for them in the short-term, Votto is very underrated, and his skill-set will have him play very productive when he's not in his prime. This all but eliminates them resigning Brandon Phillips, so we'll see what they'll do going froward, and hopefully this deal doesn't cripple the Red's ability to bring other pieces in.
