Yeah I got my heart said on information systems, even though it pays good, at this point its just about what i would rather be doing the rest of my life if i dont become a rich celebrity or a successful entrepreneur..just being real

Engineering and Computer even thoughthey have a medium to steep learning curve, its the only thing that excites me

Information Systems pays very good in my area. You will get hired if you're a recent grad living in Northern Virginia. We have the #1 and #2 richest counties by median household income (Loudoun, Fairfax). When the recession was going on, you freakin couldn't tell around here since everyone was still getting that money. 6 of my friends just landed jobs IMMEDIATELY with mediocre graduating GPAs (2.0 - 2.9). A couple of them were recruiting by these firms before they graduated because there is still a dearth of talent in filling in positions. I guess it depends on where you live and your contacts. Remember to grind it out and cultivate your connections.

Engineering & Computer Science = High starting salary, little room for growth

Yeah they all used engineering or computer science as their base to make billions. I'm sure there are TONS of doctors/surgeons who become business men also. How many of them make billions? Can you make a list of them please?

In fact let's not bring up a degree...name me a few medical students who dropped out of college without getting their degree then went to start their own business and made billions?

Then compare that to those in the tech world who dropped out of college and still made billions without a ever getting their degree.

let's be real, if you are an engineer or computer guy, you have a nice starting salary but you wont get much further than that. niggas like that dont become CEOs, period.

Let's be real, if you are an engineering major or computer science major, chances are you will become CEO more frequently than doctors and surgeons.

Ok let's be real...list how many billionaire CEOs were one-time med students? You can't think of any? I'm sure you can think of plenty of billionaire CEOs that were one-time engineering or comp sci majors. That list below will help if you need reference.

If you are familiar with the IT world, there's a running joke that engineering majors are not studying to do any engineering but are doing management training in college instead, hence why you see all of these multi-billion dollar tech, consulting, and defense corps have management that's filled with tons of engineering majors.
