I seen her live numerous times and not once did her voice crack. This includes her performing Empire State of Mind II, twice.

That being said, every artist has their mediocre/bad performances. Beyonce has had her fair share, also.

It's still funny to me how people say Beyonce can't sing, has to yell to make you think she can sing, or uses tricks to cover up her voice. There are hundreds of videos you can choose from, but i'm posting these because there's little to nothing going on around to distract you from her voice. I wouldn't know, I've only read the last 2 pages of this thread. Just saying, there is a shitload of people who say that though. Plus I just wanted to share those videos. *shrug*

@KillaCham: As much as I dislike Beyonce and her music, anyone who would say she "can't sing" would just be going a little far, in my opinion. That's borderline hating.

@usmarin3: I've seen that. Like I said, not her best performance. I remember thinking she wasn't really into it. Odd considering how deeply she cares about children around the world. I still find it to be a good performance. Better than most artist's best stuff.

As for Beyonce, I remember watching her VMA 2009 performance and finding it to be nothing to brag about.

I still wouldn't hold one performance against an artist. That Haiti one won't make me think Beyonce is vocally superior than Alicia. I have yet to attend a concert of hers where her vocals weren't kick ass.

All she got is her vocal, musicwise. But that ain't even make her top vocalist. Hell no. She don't make me FEEEL something, as corny as this might sound. I know some can relate to the way I put it.

Some people forget that being a vocalist ain't all about showing off vocal acrobatics.

I would say Monica is way better than Beyonce, if we limit possible candidates to female vocalists in the mainstream. If some of yall don't agree, then so be it. I would leave the top vocalist spot empty. Oh, it will only show Beyonce been swimming in such a small pond.

I love Alicia. Her musiic is 10 times better in my opinion but Beyonce got her in vocals. Seeing AK in concert gave me a whole new respect for her. Vocals were crispy. You haven't heard her until you've been to one but that's beside the point.

Anyway P!nk. As much as I dislike her these days, I believe she could take Bey note for note.
