But I'm admittedly biased, I'm not a fan of beyonce at all. I think she's overexposed, I think she's an airhead, and I don't get the hype. Her music has ZERO staying power. She's a collection of hits, not a collection of classics.

Well how much of air head is she really when the chick is pulling in 87 mil and year, runs her own tour, and employs black people. The hype is she outperforms these other chicks (be it vocally or stage presence), the chick best assests is her drive. As far as staying power, if her music had no staying power she would not be around in the industry 15 years later, she would be (Ciara) or someone of that nature. It's way too early to judge her career and she does have classics.

By classics what you really mean, is she ain't doing traditional baby baby please, my man left me, etc R and B.
