Yo these Primerica niggas had me cold calling random businesses out of a phone book. Niggas was like "oh well these people's jobs suck so bad that they'll be happy to hear the opportunity. Bruh handed me a phone book and I was like who Im supposed to call, dude say start at A in the business section lmfao

a. mann reminds me of my cousin..

its probably no coincidence they both served in the military.. that nigga's a recruiter.. hates the shit.. wouldnt go if he knew then what he knew now bit still be gassin niggas to sign up on the daily..

who sent u a. mann?? lol

All them acronyms and other bullshit, tryin to sell me a dream. I hate a nigga that try to fast talk me, I usually just let em talk and hit the niggas with questions and shred everything they just said.... I went to this meeting with my girl one time because she wanted me to go so bad because her friend wanted her to go and to bring me, I know what time it is, so these niggas sellin energy, talkin about how low our bills will be and they're an up and coming energy provider. So right in the middle of the shit, i'm like "yo, how can ya'll provide low cost energy when there are virtual monopolies in every state?" Dude nervous.... I next said "ain't our bills goin to skyrocket after 6 months to balance out the savings on the front side" Then i'm like, "you talkin this oppurtunity of a lifetime thing but we gotta pay $350 to start, if it's like that, you should throw it to me, that's good business right? if I blow up, i'ma throw it back plus interest, make it sweet for us" He tryin to talk his way out or whatever, Just like ya'll I see niggas eyes gleamin and i'm becoming the enemy so I let that nigga cook. I was offended by the baby subway sandwiches with the hard bread and the warm cheese. These lames ain't have enough chairs, and had the nerve to have the shasta sodas or whatever. I'm like damn cuh, we can't even get real soda in this bitch. We up through, that nigga was showin all these cars and shit on the slides, then had the nerve to pull up in a camry talkin bout his car was in the shop. Hoe ass nigga if I can recognize a fake brick, fuck you think you bout to tell me. That shit be havin me salty them shady ass niggas man. They all remind me of Ginger's golf hustler boyfriend on Casino. Sorry for the titangraph but fuck.

we talkin bout capitalism or nah??

The structure is the same.

In capitalist systems there are bosses at the top who make the most money off your work then there is some mid-level managers and supervisors in the middle and finally grunts on the bottom. So yes it's a pyramid.

The major difference is that no matter what corporation you work for there is no doubt about who the boss is and where they sit on the totem pole. in pyramid schemes they lead you to believe that you control your own destiny and that you are your own boss and there is pressure to recruit new suckers into the system for the bosses to leech from.

My personal experience is I had an old Army buddy call me up out the blue

talking about he was starting his own business and really needed my help.

Of course,I was eager to help the brother out. Even said I can would be presented with

the opportunity. All had to do was intend one of his "meeting" and bring as many people as I could.

Right then and there I already knew what time it was.

Out of respect for homie,I went, but didn't bother sullying my rep by bringing any body else

Yeah, the presenters dressed real shape, talked real elegant. EVERYBODY had Masters Degrees, was making 6 figures before this "opportunity"......

Impeccable presentation I must say.

But after all that talk about starting your own business, living life up,building wealth for your grandkids children!

None of them motherfuckers could answer the one simple question I asked:

How does all this "wealth" affect a person's tax status? What are all the necessary tax codes and forms one should be aware of???

Of course, I knew the niggas couldn't answer, cuz after all that time speaking about living the life of the rich & fabulous, they never once brought up thee must important aspect of starting a new business

They looked at me like I was a "plant"

lol

Needless to say I hadn't heard from old boy too tough since

he said look at him like a plant

Time goes on and he's out of money, hasn't made anything from it and now needs money for tuition. Turns out they had him take a train way outside Toronto and he had no money to get back. He was walking at the side of the rode mad af all sad n shit.....

I told him "don't say anything I already know LOLOL"..... I clowned him the whole ride back but schooled him on a very valuable lesson, all of us seem to forget and need to be reminded of sometimes - if it's too good to be true it probably is, there are no short cuts in life at all and no easy ladders to the top.

too many people want short cuts to the good life. but even if it worked.....how can they sustain it? shortcuts wont work the higher you get.

when will they learn.

i still got my female homie(pornstar jade nicole sister)

calling me talking about...when am i gonna get serious and make some real money.

im still like....how is organo gold coffee gonna make me real money outside of what i have now?

Yesterday's short cuts are tomorrow's nightmares and they make for long delays in life.

There are many short cuts to failure, but there are no short cuts to true success.

Hard to accept but people learn it one way or the other. The sooner the better.

im stealing both those quotes...

just a heads up..lol

@a.amann

Yea..smh. sigh.. Almost got bamboozle in that shit while in College. Prime America. They almost caught me slippin. They are some bullshit life insurance policy company. Shit is a prymaid scheme. First thing the nigga did when he came at me was he started to recruit his family members in the shit when they got him. then they started to recruit other people in the shit as well. That's how they make their money. But recruiting people. But niggas don't even realize the top nigga on prymaid gets the most money.

So anyway, my dumbass went to one of their sinmar's. I thinking shit.. Extra money on the side in my pockets selling life insurance policies. Little did I know.. while everybody was in the room listening to the pitch and presentation of what is Prime America and what the job does. Me and couple other cats saw them starting to guard the front door entrance heavily. Felt like a dark presence in that room. Cult following. They just started asking questions after questions. After questions. One chick went to use the bathroom and they surrounded her and told her to sit back down.

So now I am like. WTF I got myself into. They would not like niggas leave. It felt like it was dark energy in that fucking room. Once you stop answering them questions demon like expressions came on their face.

After that, I got the fuck up and bounce out. I call them niggas the next day and told them to cancel my application. Nigga goes and says. "We'll call back in couple month's if your interested. Remember 1,000 a month, is such a wonderful opportunity" I look at the fucking phone, hang up and put the nigga on block.

Is Vector Marketing still around?

Yes. I saw an add for them a few years ago. I tried to sign up right after high school. I knew it was a scam just by doing the research but also I had a friend that worked there & she couldn't even tell me what they did. She said they were going through meetings or something.

FYI without pyramid schemes the 'American Greed' show wouldn't exist, those are what the majority of their shows highlight, then investments, medical scams, watering down prescription meds, counting, cards, robbing, counterfeit money, etc. They get some people by calling the pyramid scheme an investment, like they are investing in buildings, movies, bank investments, etc.

The craziest episode I saw was this guy scammed a bunch of black churches out of 9 million dollars. I almost felt bad for them, but people are so blinded by religion they throw common sense out of window. He kept postponing giving them all the money, he did it a few times before they thought to call the FBI.

^ there are 3 parts to this. I can't find a whole episode online these parts are cut down

I knew people who have gotten good money off Herbalife, but they treat it like a full time job, and its a borderline cult. They reason the make money tho is because of all the dipshits they get to go in on it.

I got tricked into going to one of the meetings, and I honestly have no idea what they were selling. I just knew it seemed like the dumbest way to try to make a buck I've ever seen.

Yep had this one dude try to get me to join cause he needed a certain amount of people under him to make it to a certain status.......I Gave That Nigga The Heisman
