Wow people were really actually trying to compare Mobb Deep to Outkast. I mean the Mobb was tight at one point then they just hit a brick wall. If u wanna say Outkast the group fell off by going platinum with there last album then your clearly lost.

SMH @ this Shock Post. Kast can go Platinum in their sleep. You can't bring up Big Boi's solo cause that's Big Boi. Andre 3000 is the superstar of Outkast. "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" sold mostly off 3 Stacks LP. Outkast can go Platinum in this climate with no issues. LOL @ bringing up Lil Wayne who has never moved the units that Outkast has but with 1 LP. They have 4 Multi-Plaitnum albums. "Idiewild" which was a soundtrack still went Platinum and that was in late 2006, about 4 years ago and the album had zero hit singles. All Kast needs to do is drop a hot single and it's a wrap. They can do 200-400k 1st week easy just off the anticipation of it being the 1st OUTKAST album since 2003. As for the Mobb Deep comparison. Mobb is one of the best Groups but they never ran NYC or have ever been the best NYC Group. Outkast is clearly a Top 2 group in Southern Hip Hop History and a Top 5 Group overall in Hip Hop History. I love Mobb but they aren't seeing Outkast.

musically if we talking kast vs 3 albums vs mobb 1st 3 albums then you can compare and debate who really had the better work. But after that 3rd Mobb album you really can't put them musically n the same level. Now fame and commercial wise it isn't even a contest. Outkast is much more known and well respected in the game.
