What I'm saying is that they have never dominated in hip hop, when they were puttin' out classics it was the time of Bad Boy, Death Row, Tommy Boy, Suave House, No Limit, Cash Money, Def Jam, Elektra etc. LOUD records ain't never dominated, they had good shit, classics, but nobody ever got "Shook" about puttin' their album out against Mobb Deep, nigga's were'nt hurtin' the game...EVER

Loud had a solid ass roster, but when you put it that way, i agree..But thats only due to the money the labels were putting behind the projects.....if they wouldve signed to a def jam it might a different story....

How does Big Boi's solo sales reflect OutKast's sales as a whole? For example, the individual members of Bone Thugs N Harmony never matched the success of the group. Outside of Krayzie (who had a platinum double LP), nothing sold as well as the group albums.

Bottom line people want an OutKast album more than any solo project that the two of them can create.

I think OutKast can go plat if the music is still crazy and catchy, because OutKast has something that most Black rappers don't...They've secured the mainstream White audience a la Eminem. Em did 3x Platinum with Recovery and that was only a decent album with modest yet BIG pop/crossover singles. If OutKast album actually has big records and 2-3 strong videos, they can go platinum under those circumstances.

Remember when Stankonia dropped, nobody was really thinkin' about them and they came out left field with "Rosa Parks" and nigga's went nuts. Same happened with Speakerboxxx/LoveBelow. Rumors spread that they weren't cool anymore and they were doing seperate albums on a double disk. before any single popped off, them nigga's were counted out, nobody was checkin' for OutKast, then "Hey Ya" came out and nigga's for a second thought Andre 3K lost his damn mind, but them White folks was co-signing the shit out of that song so niggas was like ok, they got a little buzz off that, but what is Big Boi gone do..."I Like The Way U Move" and 6 million sold...NO HYPE, NO BUZZ...PURE MUSIC ALONE DID THAT.

Don't even get me started on when that nigga Andre 3K came back off "Hey Ya" with "Roses"...That shit was a rap and they still fuckin' with they manager, Blu...If you know anything about Blu then you know he ain't lettin' the album flop under no circumstances, he's 100% Dungeon Fam 'til the death!
