Nicki Minaj Laughs Off Report Of Hotel Fight

Following reports she was struck by a man, Dallas police say Minaj was accidentally hit by a suitcase.

As if any more proof were necessary, Nicki Minaj made it clear on Wednesday morning (July 13) that she is not a lady to be trifled with. The First Lady of Young Money posted a series of tweets denying a TMZ report that she was cold-cocked by an unidentified man at a Dallas hotel on Monday night. According to Dallas police, the incident was much less salacious.

"The fact that u believe a man either slapped or punched me in the face & didn't leave on a stretcher w/his b---s hangin off?" she wrote on Wednesday morning.

A spokesperson for the Dallas Police Department confirmed for MTV News on Wednesday that officers did respond to a call at the Palomar Hotel on Monday night, but that no action was taken. "We responded to her and a friend arguing over a suitcase, and one of them let go and it hit her in the lip," said Dallas PD spokesperson Kevin Janse.

That contradicts TMZ's story that Minaj told police she was struck on the lip by a man during an argument. The gossip site reported that a heated discussion began at the pool and after Minaj asked a hotel employee to call police, the man went up to their room, where he allegedly struck her on the lower lip. By the time cops and paramedics arrived, the man had left, but Minaj said she did not want to press charges against the gentleman, whom she told authorities she was not in a relationship with.

Though her spokesperson could not be reached for comment on the incident, Minaj followed with another tweet that made her already crystal position on the subject even clearer. "The media could pee on ur leg & tell u its raining. You'd believe it. You'd believe u were an adopted martian if TMZ told u so."

Both Nicki Minaj and her sidekick/hypeman, SB, have taken to Twitter to deny allegations of a physical dispute in Dallas, TX, last night, as reported by TMZ…

After reports that she was allegedly caught in a physical argument with an unidentified man in Dallas, TX, hit the net last night (July 12), Nicki Minaj and her sidekick (and rumored lover), SB, have both taken to Twitter to deny the allegations.

“The fact that u believe a man either slapped or punched me in the face & didn’t leave on a stretcher w/his balls hangin off? #getaF%cknLife,” the Harajuku Barbie tweeted, followed by, “The media could pee on ur leg & tell u its raining. You’d believe it. You’d believe u were an adopted martian if TMZ told u so. #stopit5 [sic]”

SB, who goes by the handle Scaffbeezy on Twitter, posted, “The general public are some stupid muthafuckas!!!! Y’all dicks believe anything on a website…. It’s really a shame… Wut up tho Dallas?!!” He later added, “4the record I would never lay a hand on ANY woman, I have all sisters and No brothers And that’s the last I’ll say about that!!! God bless [sic].”

According to TMZ, the Nicki was sitting poolside at the swanky Palomar hotel when she and an unidentified gentleman, who was assumed to be SB, began to argue. She told a hotel employee to call the authorities and then the two went to their hotel room.

When cops and paramedics arrived, Nik told them the man had struck her on her lower lip while inside. By that time, the man had already fled the scene and Nicki insisted she didn’t want to press charges. Nicki also added the man involved in the altercation isn’t her lover.

An incident report was taken but, eventually, no charges were filed. Nicki’s reps have not returned requests for comment by XXL as of press time.

According to a member of Nicki's ENTOURAGE the two got into a PHYSICAL FIGHT . . . and that during the fight Nicki got HIT IN THE MOUTH. And the fight started because Nicki suspected her BF was texting AMBER ROSE!!!

It all began when Nicki, Safaree and their entourage were staying at the Palomar Hotel in Dallas two nights ago. The group was downstairs at the hotel pool, when all HECK BROKE LOOSE.

The insider, who was NOT there to witness the incident - but has FIRSTHAND knowledge, tells MediaTakeOut.com, "Nicki is EXTREMELY jealous of Amber. Rose She thinks that she and [Safarree] were [having relations]." The insider continued, "Nicki took [Safaree]'s phone to see who he was texting. She always does that and he [usually] doesn't care. But this time he [protested] and they started arguing."

The arguing got louder, and the couple started making a scene. The insider continued, "It was very embarrassing, Nicki was all in his face and they were both yelling. It was very hood."

And that's when, the story gets MURKY.

Nicki and Safaree continued arguing, and returned to their HOTEL ROOM. While inside the two began to PHYSICALLY FIGHT - and according to our insider, NICKI and Safaree are telling people close to them that PUNCHES WERE THROWN.

Who threw WHAT punch is still not clear. The insider tells us that Safaree claims that it was NICKI who attacked HIM . . . and that he was trying to RESTRAIN her. But Nicki told people that Safaree PUNCHED HER IN THE FACE.

In either event, police WERE CALLED to the room. When they arrived Safaree was NOT THERE to be questioned. Police questioned Nicki - and checked her for ANY INJURIES (which they found none). The officers then filed an INCIDENT REPORT - and DECLINED to issue an ARREST warrant for Safaree.

Nicki and Safaree are STILL TOGETHER. And Safaree operated as her HYPE MAN at last night's concert. Even though TMZ is reporting virtually the SAME THING as we are, Nicki is DENYING IT. She came out publicly - denying that ANYTHING happened that day.
