i listened to it a good 2 times. i think the second half is stronger than the first.

the only thing i thought could have been better was the production.

the pockets royce comes up with just keep getting better.

now i feel like i can go back and listen to Trust The Shooter.

This has always been his issue, he never uses a big budget towards production and he loves Denaun Porter for some reason. He's ooook.

You can really hear the difference in royce's approach from mixtape to album. trust the shooter played just like a mixtape..layers plays like a album..the album flows perfect with nice skits weaving it together. I got a feeling imma be bumping this heavy like i did kendricks to pimp a butterfly

People been sayin that Royce cant make albums his whole career. But Layers is a cohesive dope album. Hes exploring new ground on this one. Im feelin it. Starter Coat, Flesh, Hard are probly my 3 favs at the moment but im been playin the entire thing beginning to end and the whole album goes hard.
