Oh shyt, it makes even more sense now. Like, I knew Hov got inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, but I didn't initially take in the correlation between that and the ghostwriting shit. Basically, I just saw it at face value. Nicely layered.

And this is coming from BET of all places.

Everyone ain't gonna feel that. I wish he would get the production from his first 2 albums VR his last one I wasn't feeling it. He and jcole did the same thing message raps over production instead of doing both.

Rap fast about nonsense? Can you post a nonsensical rap from Kendrick?

No, these niggas all use that excuse. Then claim they rock with other artists cuz they digest it better. "Bitches not twerkin to Kendrick and Cole" and these other nonsensical ass excuses.

I seen a chick twerk to "I love myself"

how u go ask us to make sense of some shit we jus said aint make none!?

fuck that lyrical miracle 4th deminsion yoshua bullshit yall niggas be eatin up..

i broke down big sean's verse on holy keys and told how it resonated..

how bout u return the favor and tell me why Kendricks lame ass verse means so much to u!?

ill wait...

Sounds like ur mad that his verses going over your head...

they say the sign of a great teacher is one who could bring their message down to the students level to convey..

ia 10grade math teacher who got a PHd in mathematics teachin his kids at a gradschool level would be considered a horrible teacher.. his kids wouldnt be considered bad students..

for the sake of argument Kendricks verses goin "over my head" aint on me.. its on the teacher.. so me be mad for what??

u and the likes are the only ones up in arms cause a nigga is in here not sharing ur sentiment.. i prefer Sean over Kendrick.. and thats that.. and i provided reasons as to why..

u have yet to provide a reason as to why i shouldnt..

i then go on to say he aint talkin bout shit and instead of breakin it down wit ur "superior" intelligence and bringin it to my level and be a BETTER teacher than Kendrick u instead try to berate and belittle..

which tells me even "YOU dont under all the bullshit that he writes."

so i say to u my nigga.. "jus cause u dont understand him dont mean that he nice." lmmfao

Well drake was crying that Kendrick basically called him out

Man that pissed me off ... like niggas should've been happy Kendrick named him cuz it shows that he views them as his peers but still seems he's better then him. Only krit, Cole, and Tyler and mac miller and wale basically knew what Kendrick was saying .the others basically cried about it especially drake . It's friendly competition and Kendrick wanted it . No reason for drake to fucking cry about it

This is a lame ass excuse and niggas is wrong. Shorties was twerkin to swimming pools, king kunta, these walls, workout, cant get enough, etc. Its stupid when supposed hip hop fans say that shit. Just like in the remy ma thread they said "oh its cool but she shouldve made the diss a club track". Wtf? Hip Hop is not one dimensional. And for those that like only one category stay off the Hip Hop forums this aint for you and you aint a real hip hop fan.

Bruh was so butthurt after Control. Yall remember this hissy fit Drake threw back in 2014?

Drake says that there are only "two kings in this shit right now."

Earlier today we posted footage from J. Cole's "Dollar And A Dream" tour finale in Los Angeles last night. The ColeWorld MC went out with a bang, performing two shows in one night, with each show seeing a different surprise guest: Kendrick Lamar and Drake. We saw brief footage from K. Dot's time on stage, and now plenty of Instagram clips are circulating from Drizzy's time on stage.

Drake's performance is making the rounds because of a bold statement the Toronto rapper said while on stage. Grabbing J. Cole during the set, Drake declared to the crowd, "There's only two kings in this shit right now. They're standing on this stage."

Nigga tried to pull Cole in on some divide and conquer shyt. :joy:

Its a double shot like i said before two birds one stone the hall of fame line hit drake and sean at the same time.....Kendrick really is undoubtedly the better rapper

I got the fact that both artists have used the phrase Hall of Fame in their respective works, but that part doesn't apply to Sean. As far as we know he writes his own material. Drake has more recently claimed HOF and Top 5 even after his exposure (on Views in 2016). Yet this year he condescendingly proclaims "apparently I'm a rapper" in response to some Grammy bullshyt. That is a prime example of him acting as if he's bigger than hip hop and I believe that's what Kendrick was getting at.

Ya but why do people assume kendrick just had to pick one? Like I said alot of lines could b meant for both and that's the beauty of it kendrick basically saying why hit one when i can hit both at the samd time. Also sean has also spoken abt a list in rap the same as drake. Im not saying all the lines are meant for both its clear the end part abt bigger than rap is for drake. But kendrick is never known to waste a line and that hall of fame line was a perfect layering of words to smack both drake and sean.

The westbrook thing was clearly for sean

The tip toe around my name hit both drake and sean

An the jay-z u hall of fame could hit both while the end part abt not being bigger than rap is clearly drake since he also had exchanges with jay

Kendrick really smackin them niggas up

I mean you're picking up on things but you failing to put them together... Yes, there are ambiguous shots being fired but it's not hard to see which heatseeker is being sent at whom. A few lines may definitely be aimed at both but I already explained why certain lines were specifically aimed at Aubrey. That Westbrook shyt could be aimed at Sean but look at the context of the entire section. He was using Drake's lines to start off his section of the song. Flipping another's bar against them is a common theme in diss raps. Why flip something a nigga said toward another nigga when said nigga is a target as well? On top of that, the section in question is talking about writing. Period. Point blank. Again, Sean's pen has never been questioned. In fact why question such a thing when you have so many arguable corny lines to begin with?

The Big Pun/little bitch part was definitely aimed at Sean. At the end he even mimicked Sean apologizing and downplaying the situation. A few of us picked up on that.

On the other hand, again, he (Kendrick) used Aubrey likening himself to Durant and flipped it to he likening himself to Westbrook. What does Sean have to do with that?

There are other strong parallels that come from that section a la the fact that Drake always uses others to maintain his status (KD switching teams for an apparent easy win) whereas Dot sticks to his same team and accomplishes his feats on his own (Russell sticking with his team and still accomplishing amazing feats).

But naw the bars, or rather sections, that mattered were both heatseeking missles that hit EACH their entended targets.

Ic niggas want the shots to only be for Drake cuz they hate him that much.... the shots off top were for Sean cuz Sean been baiting Kendirck with shots for a while. Drake caught some subs as well.

Drakes a Jew and has a large pop following, we all saw how other industries started to ride his coat tail during the meek beef. Jews stick together and there's a large population of Jews who control industries in american that will pull strings to prevent there little infiltrator taking a huge fall.

kendrick is on a major label part owned by a Jew he likely wont let the conflict happen, as Jews like to keep the money "in house" probably why it's being kept subliminal as the pop fan base won't really catch who the target is of the diss.

I'm sure if something allows it to slide kenny has tracks in the chamber ready, the fact drakes tried aligning with others such as cole (who kenny had plans to release a joint album with) etc I'm sure there's a lot of info feeding back to him on how drake slanders him like a female scorned.

Personally I think the battle would be huge for this era of hip hop as these two are arguably the largest artists of this generation.

But everyone seems to be scared to show and prove on the mic, and sensitive as shit to any remark made about them.

I mean you got radio stations beefing with artists these days shit is rediculous.

Kenny would kill drake easy, drake knew meek didn't have the ability to go toe to toe so he was happy to call him out, drake knows kenny will rap circles around him so he plays the victim.
