Ga damn the venom!

Watchin' me as I pull up, fill up my tank, then peel out

Muscle cars like pull ups, show you what these big wheels 'bout, ah

Black and successful, this black man meant to be special

CAT scans on my radar bitch, how can I help you?

How can I tell you I'm making a killin'?

You made me a killer,

emancipation of a real nigga

Kendrick spoke on some untouched subjects and just said what almost every black American has been feeling for the last 3 years with everything happening in society. I love that line about weeping on trayvon when gangbanging makes me kill a nigga blacker than me. Hypocrite! One word: Classic. The black community is always in an uproar when another race kills one of our own, but ignore the fact that everyday black on black crime is always present. That's as important in my opinion.

Shits pathetic...

Obviously went over heads...

Simply put...the message is:

Why don't black people come together and make national/international noise about black on black murder like they did in Trayvon or the Fergusion case?

Pointing this out does not make Kendrick a coon.

Statistically right now, can someone tell me if more black men in America are dying right now at the hands of white men than black on black crime?

Actually you are exposing yourself. Blacks were doing community outreach, marching and protesting long before Trayvon or Mike Brown. Do your homework. You and others like you are ignorant of these events and organizations.

So, it's easy for Kendrick to come along and preach to the ignorant.

I think you are actually in over your head bruh.

Haven't seen anything in the news recently about people marching in protest about the daily murders occurring in....off the top, Chicago...

Link me to a recent news article. I'm happy to be wrong....I hope I am.

But that's the message I got from the song.

Off the top my head I know Derek Rose, Common and Isiah Thomas have programs that do outreach in Chicago that are aimed at curbing violence in Chicago.

Check out the interrupters on Netflix. It's going on.

I don't like when I hear people say Blacks aint doing shit. That's crazy to me. Check Jasiri X out in Pittsburgh. Basheer Jones in Cleveland. I am just tossing names off top. Family it's out there. Believe me.

Quoted and goated.

I never said Blacks wasn't doing shit. And I am an outsider looking in, so forgive my ignorance.

But during TM and Ferguison cases, I switched on my tv and saw black people come together and unite for what we believed in.

The point I got from Kendrick is that same outcry is not so conspicuous when dealing with black on black crime....coupled with the fact that white people don't give a fuck if we kill each other. So if we don't stop it, when will it end?

Respect. The issue here is, the Trayvon and Ferguson cases generate money for media outlets. The media knows that interest goes up when crimes involve law enforcement, a Black victim and a white shooter.

The media doesn't care two shits about the on going efforts of Blacks to improve their communities. If, they did, these evil people couldn't sell the narrative that Blacks are lazy, welfare collecting criminals looking for a hand out.

Blacks have never laid down and just let their communities go to shit. They just don't listen to us if, it doesn't generate money.

I aint gon front....That one line about Trayvon ruined that entire track for me

When i buy the album I'm not even gonna upload this track on my computer

Fuck that last line.

The song is cool but Trayvon Martin and Black on Black crime is the worst analogy. COON SHIT

And for the nigga that posted that Pac line And they say it's the white man I should fear/ But It's my own kind doing all the killing here. I never like that line either and Pac is my 2nd favorite rapper

I like the song though

I wouldn't say its coon shit.. Just misdirected...you can tell Kendrick wants to say something with substance but he doesn't have all the knowledge to adequately speak on these matters...he needs to study more before he attempts to kick knowledge

Nah I'm a take it there and say it is most definitely coon shit homie. It's the exact same shit every Uncle Tom in the media always throws out as an argument for why we shouldn't be outraged when crackas kill Black males and get no punishment for it.

I'm not saying one of my favorite artists is a coon, I'm saying that way of thinking is coon shit. Trying to divert and deflect attention away from the real problem of white supremacy by holding a mirror up to Black folks and saying we're more of a problem to ourselves is definitely coon shit in my eyes.

Yes white supremacy is alive and in full effect.

yet Black folks are a problem to themselves.Any blk person who dont see that, is asleep. Ppl like that are goofy negroes, who are waiting for white ppl to learn their errors. Ya waited 500 years, ya gonna wait 500 more.

Blacks wanna act like helpless victims of white supremacy, they'll continue to be helpless victims.

They'res measure we can take to minmize white supremacy n erase it . But it begin with us blacks.

Self hate is real. And lead to blacks not valuing black lives.

Blacks not supporting blacks physically n financially.

Black man vs black women.

The lack of community n family in the blk community.

He is mow the mayor so hopefully he will keep on fighting the good fight.

I never said Black folks were perfect. The crab mentality and Willie Lynch syndrome is real in the Black community, no one's denying that.

BUT the topics of crackas killing Blacks with impunity and "Black on Black" crime shouldn't be conflated with one another.

Only time I wanna hear niggas mention Trayvon and gang violence in the same sentence is when they're diagnosing the two issues as both symptoms of white supremacy

Stupid.

Its not even comparable how many black people have died for nothing more than being black in america compared to those that have died behind gang violence. It goes way beyond trayvon, michael and eric. Its almost disrespectful if you break it down. But because it sounds good in a song you niggas and kendrick have a new found awareness. Like I said before sonically I fuck with what he's doing but clearly he's not aware enough to speak for me or to me about this shit. Maybe he leads some of you to more informed or to seek more information. That's a positive out of this bullshit.

This is how I know it's not just Chicago, NY, LA, or Newark working to better their communities. If, you care you know what's going down in every Black community across the country. In fact Hip Hop used to be the medium to put us up on what was going down.

I remember when NWA dropped it, wasn't like O shit these are the best MC's ever. Our reaction in NY was oh shit I had no idea Blacks were getting their asses handed to them by police in LA also. Shit, we aint even know there were Blacks in LA. So, yeah Fuck the police.
