Funny how the same niggas who are trying to discredit his whole song based off those two bars are the same people who aint fuck with dude anyway. Funny aint it?

That whole first verse he went in hard on the racial dynamics in present society. Of course he didn't really break it down from a scholarly perspective, but he said a lot of real shit that takes some boldness and balls to do. The way he phrased the last few bars rubbed me the wrong way too, but I'm not gonna nitpick the shit. Yall don't like the nigga we get it. I guess yall would be more happy if he just kept it on some killer, fuck hoes shit the whole track track and didn't even mention race at all right?

Reality is that both sides of the argument are right. And this is not fence sitting, I truly believe we are responsible for our actions - there are a bunch of fatherless, uneducated, self-destructive children that fill prisons. AND I believe that poor black communities live under a police state - constant surviellance and accosted by stop and frisk or dwb.

The system isnt perfect but there are things we can do to put ourselves in better positions despite the white supremacy practiced by society.

I appreciate Kendrick for at least speaking on it, even if some of it is flawed - with 25% of blacks at the poverty line, not everyone is popping Dusse if I do say so my self.
