People are fickle, and they loked at it as the new, trendy, Jay Z team...and Prokorov n them WISELY never said shyt about his share until after it all went down...
Imo Jay bailed too early. Team ownership aint no clothing line Lol 15-20 years who knows, coulda made it to majority owner. But very few people can think w/ that type of patience.
Fans are fickle but so is Jay-z rap lyrics
First off, he spoke on a detailed convo he had with the president only for the white house to say that never happened. Secondly, when he says stuff like he can park in his own arena but is only 0.5% partner of that arena one can only assume he took a indirect L.
He did all that marketing for the NETS and says he woulda done it for free lol. Jay-z trying to mask his losses
Owning a Team and having Stake in Real Estate aka the Arena are 2 Different investments. There's stores and restaurants in Barclays that prolly don't own nothing involved with the Nets.
Mind you Arenas arent only used for sporting events but concerts also. Like Madison Square Garden is home to the Knicks, Liberty, Rangers etc and also was a platform for Kevin Hart not too long ago.
