But yall act like simply 'sending shots' is grounds for getting credit. What about the qualty of the shot? Plus, Drake has been 'sending shots' at Jay z for years. Fair enough. Those were clever b/c there was no beef, no pressure, n Jay woulda looked small if he replied to empty submiminals.

But here's the difference: The FIRST time Drake specifically dropped Jay's name, 2 weks later homeboy DEADED that LOL SMH *Pusha T yuck* So the lesson is, when the shyt hits the fan...when the shyt hits the fan brother, you GO IN!.

I.e. Jay threw lil shots at Game, then when it came time he dropped Dear Summer and DEADED that.

Those super light counter jabs and subliminals aren't going to cut it.

He was spitting but it was overall underwhelming in comparison to the entire We Made it Remix. Both verses.

When Jay fucking Z calls you out by NAME, you do no respond with some lightwork slick shit like this.

And he is not in the position of power right now at all for him to take this "I'm the man" route. When Jay did it, it was because the gap between he and second was already extremely wide. Drake has Kendrick right on his ass as of that grammy performance. He needs to do more then just flex.

This beat choice was horrible.

The shit was light on substance.

He had little to no charisma.

Flow was on point, but lyrically and technically he wasn't there with both Jays.

I take Jay's original stance on sublimes, if the shit aint directed directly at the nigga /name names , I dont respect that shit. All those Biggie tracks that were supposedly about Pac dont even count as diss records in my book. Nas had already made a full song about 50 at that point when he made that sublime. If you gonna diss the nigga then DISS the nigga.
