I added it to my watch list days ago just to lazy to make thread. Stretch and Bobbito got a doc on Netflix too.

Stretch and Bobbito were DJing at Roots Picnic NY and mentioned this doc. Didn't know it was on Netflix. Good looks gonna watch all this

Watched it the other day and loved it, has so many exclusive interviews and great footage, it inspired me to make the 80's Hip Hop thread that can currently be found on page one of the reason, if you have time drop a post.

Great doc, can't wait till next season drops. They shitted on homie from rapper's delight lol

Didn't know they were doing seasons, I watched it last week and was wondering why they just left it off at the beginning of gangsta rap like it hasn't been a lot more elements of hip hop since then..

Probably would watch it and it's probably good but I'm just not interested in another hip-hop documentary.

I understand what you mean. These episodes are great but really we've seen and know all of this already. I'd like to see great quality docs on hip hip in the mid 90s to the mid 2000s. Something more fresh.

Word I watched every episode, its a great series. I'm a hip hop head though so this like elementary school, feel me? As a head I'd like to see a more modern hip hop history documentary with the same quality in terms of film production.

Yeah there were great stories and rare freestyles on there

Biggies demo tape lost a poll against some other group then he went on the show said he was looking for those dudes and dropped a fire freestyle

That one unreleased Pun freestyle was dope af too

Nailed it bruh @bkkbully . Shit was dope and I learned some new things my damn self. Gotta imagine whenever a legit Tupac movie comes out, you'll start seeing more and more "millennial" erap Docs start happening. Its weird cause where this joint ended is where it would pick up and I dont recall seeing Docs on that era, maybe too soon at the moment.
