Unspoken Aspect thats a very important angle I think its good for the league business wise. It also should make the league apparel cheaper seeing that extra revenue would offset production cost. But as a fan of pro jerseys, I wouldnt buy a jersey with any other logo other than the standard team logo.

the cost of a company putting its logo on a jersey will be passed along to the consumer.

that's easy. don't buy the jersey. Plus they would just charge whatever advertiser it is that extra cost. It's their advertising patch. does seem stupid to put the patch on retail versions though. but if ppl don't buy them with the patch then they will take them off.
