and judging by the good/bad reviews

I know this album is atleast top 5 in Nas's catalogue..

people descibe the album as being soulful..

laid back is Nas at his best..

Nasty was ill..

Nas spit rapid flow bar for bar with out a hook..

Daughters was necessary..

He had to address Destiny getting out of control..

anybody with a daughter should be able to relate..

Don is a banger..

I was admittedly surprised about this..

Accident murderers is also necessary..

with all the shit going on in the streets,

I will say this tho ...this track is my shit.... that rhythm section on this track is what i felt was missing from too many of the other records on the lp .... that infectious bass line ... matched with that classic boom bap drum loop .... hypnotic shit.... thats that vintage nasty nas ... i mean shit there's like 4-5 tracks i want to say that dont even have a bass section?!?!.... and i dont mean an 808 ...im talking about an actual rhythm bass electric bass anything ....that to me just left a lot of these tracks too light for my taste ...too hollow ... like reach out ..that sample has been used a ton of times..shit even mary herself has a better version ... niggas could have flipped that sample better to make it less stale and repetitive .....shit... add some depth ...different slices on the sample ..shit like that is where the record fails ...

yeah the rhythm section on that track is fire .... that drawn out bass line matched with them drums = instant head nod music ...... but tracks like queens story...reach out... worlds an addiction... you wouldn't understand ..cherry wine ... could have really benefited from some drum pattern or bass line modifications ... it would have added some more moderen flavor to the tracks ...and they could have still kept their vintage sensibilities ...

The more I hear Accident Murderers I love this joint. I didnt like it at first but Nas's whole flow on that first verse is godly. Loco-Motive remains my favorite cut.
