i agree with too many features and too many songs that we heard months before the album came out. Also i'm still upset the College Dropout bear was not in the album cover.

I fucking love that album. It honestly didnt disappoint and I went in with no expectations (ive honestly never been wowed by a Kanye album prior to MBDTF). Only weak(er) tracks IMO are Monster and Hell of A Life.

Still classic imo.

Classic to me. I can still throw in the cd press on random and be satisfied with every track that starts.

Did that last night to make sure i could call it classic and i could honestly say its kanyes best body of work

niggas lovin callin everything classic.. thats why the word does mean anything anymore.. MBDTF is okay album not classic.. the album had way to many of those "i'm tryin really hard to show you how artistic.. i think i am so you will say to yourself.. damn isnt kanye so artistic" tracks on the album...

Dark Fantasy was mad overrated IMO. About 4-5 solid songs on it. The rest were medicore IMO. I havent really liked a Kanye album since Late Registration

I still only like the 3 songs you posted on the whole album. Far from classic.

I could respect your post. If you were to listen to it with open ears one day would you say it's at least a solid album?

I would say its a solid album. Kanye will more than likely always have solid albums. But to call it a classic...nah..atleast not for me.

I fiucks wit it (ya comment) i could agree with that. I guess i appreciate it more for the production than the lyrics itself. I'll see how i feel compared to ye's next solo project (WTT is wack one month later 3.5/5)

Which is why i waited to make this thread. It's been 10 months and i just wanted to read some opinions. I don't call albums classic right off hand (WTT for example, overhyped, bunch of thrown songs thogether)

MBDTF is a classic, i got friends who hate hip hop and kanye and still like this album

i can see a bubble gum rap fan or a butthurt faggot hating on this tho

word.... too many features.....most the production wasn't even produced or fully produced by kanye himself. ... and lyrically/content wise most the album was just meh.....didn't enjoy the auto tuning/ voice effects

good album but i honestly do not get the hype at all ...

nothing about the album was groundbreaking nor did ye make any profound statements with the music.... imo it was just him trying to hard to be "artistic"

I think most of Kanye's last 3 albums have been seriously overrated, same with Watch The Throne too. I think Kanye has a good legacy with 2 classic albums, 2 medicore(Graduation, Dark Fantasy), and one piece of garbage(808s, Im sorry, I know it gets love on here, but that shit was trash to me.)

I dont really see Kanye really returning to form no time soon IMO either. Oh well.
