hiphop started by dj doing they thing on the turnables to make people dance then hype start say motivational words to make the crowd dance and get busy then the hype man evolved to a mc who can talk to the crowd and trys to entertain them by spitting funky rhymes then the mcs started to battle each that's when it became more lyrical then it got more serious and mcs started talking their minds and spread their message then got more serious

and mcs start writing stories and then mcs started painting vivid imagery lyrics makes you feel like reading a book or watching a movie.
