What makes you think wealthy White Hispanics don't leave their country LOL....? Many well off White Hispanics have come here from Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Argentinia to set up businesses here. I know because I've known many of them. You're right in the case of Spain, but otherwise well off Hispanics have come to America in droves, especially back in the 80s when the American economy was booming off real estate. One of my best friends from elementary school was Dominican, and he said his family was very proud of their Spaniard heritage. His father had connects to other well off Hispanics and created a milk truck business.

The stats don't back it up, if you look at the largest Hispanic groups (Mexico, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, Salvadoran=~80% of total Hispanic population in US), the rich in their countries tend to stay in the nations (notable exception is Cuba)

The white Hispanics that descend from conquistadores are not moving to the US and setting up bodegas lmao. The wealthy ones that do move are the ones in Texas and Miami creating business or working in multinational corporations. but thats on a much lower scale than the small businesses created by poor to middle class Hispanic immigrants
