Mainstream hip hop has been the problem for the longest. What the casual fans hear on the radio and tv is what they think hip hop is all about as a genre. This misconception would not exist if there was more balance. I hate a lot of the music that some of these new rappers put out but it could be more tolerable if there as more balance.
