u r white so u will neva understand wherr she is comin from lol

Co-sign that.

Ms Angelou always been close to us, I seen her in videos praising Tupac, she got close to him when they did Poetic Justice.

See Ms Angelou knows Common more for his movie work and activism so when he asked her for a poetry piece on that intro-song I bet she assumed it was going to be something without racial-slurs or cussing on it because she can't have her name associated with that mess....

Our elders have earned the right for our respect and deference in regards to the language we use around them or in association with them.

This isnt as bad as Rosa Parks suing Outkast.

Maya Angelou made her point, peaced it up, and kept it moving.

Good to see that it doesnt always have to be young vs old.

Why don't you just stop using the word entirely and stop cursing entirely?
Don't fake and change it up when you around someone you want to respect or impress because your negative tendencies are still there and you still calling your brother a nigga, cursing at him, and its still hurting Ms Angelou's heart.

Real Live Common is an artist and outta respect for his craft you gotta just take it on the head Maya

Common is a legend. Maya Angelou ain't even a top 10 emcee. Shorty needs to fall back before he makes "The Bitch In Yoo Part 2".

This..has got to be the most ignorant shit i've read on here in awhile..even if it's a joke
