Stop hating.
If y'all was around back in the pre-Friday era y'all would've told Cube he had money but not Hollywood money. Y'all the same negros would've told Dre he had money but not Apple money. P laughs at you small minded mothafuckas b/c 20+ years ago people like y'all told him that he dreamed too big and he was a fool for turning down his first contract. But while your favorite rappers are still rhyming for gold chains and getting fucked for publishing and show money P has decades worth of paper and the financial and mental freedom to contemplate something as big as starting his own football league. You crab ass negros are just filled with too much self hate to see if for yourselves. Smmfh. The hate is realer than ever.
Real shit right here.
Why do we always have to think so small minded? If we got behind each other we'd do amazing things. The NFL and NBA are dominated by black men. If they all left those leagues would be jack shit. The problem is we as a collective are more comfortable with being players as opposed to owners. Since being brought here we been taught our physical prowess our lane. The greatest inventions in human history have come from black minds but we been taught not to use ours. We will never get anywhere as a people if we keep limiting each other.
man.....black people can do some great shit.
always could.
niggas just limit themselves.
i really aint gonna go into the list but the shit is sicken to watch.
we support fukkery and trolls before we support some era changing shit.
loud niggas always had niggas ear...even when they dont be saying shit...niggas like to hear and see a loud nigga
@beta
we got our own destiny in our hands but rather leave it up to someone else to guide us with it.
an i understand everyone aint built for it....thats cool. but then dont try to talk about how tough you are then.
Kind of off subject but did you deal with racism when you first started your business and if so how did you handle it? @2stepz_ahead
LMAO!!! are you serious?
is this a serious question?
not dissing you...but how deep do you want me to go in this.
@2stepz_ahead as deep as you can get because a lot of black people got business ideas but if the business you are in you have to deal with white people it scares black folk off so I'm just trying to see how black business owners overcame this obstacle

Only if Birdman gets a stake
But what if Hov, Diddy, P, and Slim put their $$ together for this...throw some powerful women in there too and some athletes
But the insurance on all the players would be a big ol bitch

1. Where are they going to play? There's a stadium in every city but they are either owned or partners with the NFL (I honestly don't know the relationship between the stadiums and the NFL)
Conceivably, they can play at the same arenas that the NFL uses. The teams in the NFL only play in a stadium once a week. Otherwise those stadiums are empty.
3. Unless the games are televised they're not going to make any money. That was the problem with the ABA and the USFL. I remember I was a kid when the USFL started. They drafted Herschel Walker who won the Heisman trophy. But we never got to see him play because the games weren't televised.
Its not that difficult to raise the money. If you have a solid idea you can get investors to either buy stocks or bonds in the league. I'd say you'd need to raise at least $1Billion to keep the league afloat. That shouldn't be too difficult but like I said, if the games aren't televised it won't work.
Now that I think about it, an alternative to the NFL could be the same as when the NFC and the AFC merged in the 60s. The best team from each league would play each other in a Super-Superbowl.
Anything's possible.

I'm not going to front like I've seen their income statement, but I'd guess that they're worth $4 Billion due to ticket sales. So its the stadium itself that generates that revenue, not the actual team.
The NFL makes money from television commercials, but each team makes money from ticket sales, parking, hot dog sales, beer, T-shirts, etc.
Having said that, I wonder if the team owns the stadium that they play in?

u are also competing against the cfl and the arena league for players. the average arena league salary is 50k. u are going to have to rent a stadium (small stadium). u are going to need insurance and pay a front office staff and medical personnel. u will have to pay travel expenses. so depending on the roster size all potential owners are looking at a loss millions until the league gets established. not too many people (even former players) will be willing to put money into this.

You have to generate revenue to cover costs...and larger NFL stadiums provide the best chance for that...outside of tv deals and even then teams can suffer from that if they get put on blackout status due to low sales
